The  introduction of China Taiping Insurance (LU) S.A.

 

China Taiping Insurance (LU) S.A (“CTIL” for short), founded in January 2022, has obtained approval for its non-life insurance license from the Commissariat Aux Assurances on 31^st May, 2024.

 

Role Position:

The establishment of CTIL is a key component of implementing the China Taiping Insurance Group’s international development strategy. As the sole subsidiary of China Taiping in the EU, CTIL serves as the Group’s EU regional headquarters and act as the bridgehead for the Group in EU markets.

 

Business Focus:

CTIL focuses on general insurance business by providing high-quality services to local communities with diversified products and comprehensive solutions, and offering one-stop financial solutions to Chinese enterprises in the EU.

 

Market Strategy:

CTIL plans to use Luxembourg as its base, starting from the insurance markets in Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands,and gradually expanding to major EU markets.

 

Main Products:

Product coverage includes property, construction, marine cargo, liability, home, personal accident, shops, property owners, etc. insurance.
